What inspires your yoga practice?

I have childhood trauma and practicing yoga is just one tool in my toolbox that I utilize and absolutely love. It is definitely one of my favorite coping mechanisms!

What makes Pilgrimage of the Heart special for you?

I love that Pilgrimage really focuses on meditation and offers an array of classes. I started meditating about 1.5 years ago, and having the meditation classes that Pilgrimage offers has helped grow my practice immensely. I’m so thankful that I have meditation to turn to on a daily basis, especially when life seems so chaotic and unmanageable during this pandemic.

What do you value and enjoy about our Live Stream classes?

As an essential worker, I found that it’s so important for me to take care of my mental health and well-being. I’m so grateful to be able to turn to the Live Stream when I have a long, grueling day at work. My preferred classes are the Gentle/Yoga I classes since self-care is so important to me right now. Thanks to all the teachers for working, and for guiding us through this unprecedented time!
