Strategy for Success: Sample Exercise
EXERCISE: Discovering the purpose of your life is no simple task. It requires much inner search and reflection. Set aside ten minutes for this exercise. Sit comfortably, away from distractions, and repeat to yourself over and over, silently or aloud, “What is the purpose of my life?” Concentrate as powerfully as possible on the repetition of this question. Do not search for an answer but rather allow the intensity of the question to lead you to an answer or feeling. Try this exercise a few times each week. An answer, feeling, new idea, or other inspiration will soon come to you clearing a new path of awareness in your life. Be patient but persistent.
