Deep Healing Stretch: Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a meditative practice of slowly and gently stretching your body’s connective tissue to increase joint lubrication, increase your range of motion, improve the energy flow within your body, and decrease tension and chronic pain. By holding poses for extended periods of time (generally 2 to 5 minutes – mostly seated and lying down poses) this class creates the opportunity for deep connection with yourself and your body, unwinding long-held body tension.
