Why You Need Vitamin “N” Now More Than Ever

Vitamin N? No, it’s not the next superfood must-have in the wellness world. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. It’s something we have always had enough of throughout our entire human existence, until now. Vitamin “Nature.”
I know I don’t need to tell you that technology is more prevalent than ever, and that is consuming us on a habitual level. Social media and TV has taken our society by a storm, and it’s most of what some of us talk about. Now, this doesn’t mean that it’s going anywhere or that we should disconnect ourselves from our communities, but rather dedicate some of that time to the outdoors.
A growing number of studies have been done on the beneficial effects when humans interact with nature. The research has shown that exposure to nature has positive impacts on our mental, spiritual, and physical health, in addition to our relationships with other people.
Starting in January 2017, every second Saturday we will be hosting Outdoor Yoga classes in Trolley Barn Park from 1:30pm-2:30pm. We’ll be offering complimentary tea and snacks after class to build a stronger community around the outdoors.
