LIVE STREAM Yoga for Resilience

Resilience is about strengthening our capacity to navigate hardship, chronic stress, and traumatic events so that the waves of life affect us but don’t sink us. We are all wired for resilience, but our nervous systems can experience dysregulation. All of us can benefit from learning tools that help us not only “bounce back from” but transform through hardship for a more connected and present life.
Yoga for Resilience is a 2-hour live stream workshop where we’ll explore an intro discussion to trauma, resilience, and nervous system regulation, followed by a 75-minute gentle yoga practice. In this workshop, you can expect to:
- Be held with an understanding that we are all affected by trauma and chronic stress, as well as the belief that we all have the capacity to heal and transform.
- Move through a trauma-informed discussion and movement practice with lots of options, choice, curiosity, and compassion.
- Experience and learn somatic (body-based) tools to support you in navigating the stressors of everyday life.
All are welcome!
You’ll need a yoga mat, any props you’d like to use (optional) , a notebook and pen, and a water bottle.
