The Hype about Hips

In today’s society, many of us lead sedentary lives, meaning we sit… a lot. We sit to drive, we sit to work, we sit to relax or enjoy ourselves. Too much sitting results in tight hip flexors which leads to poor posture, misalignments within our bodies and even pain in some cases.
In this workshop, we’ll explore the basic anatomy, biomechanics and energetics of the hips and pelvis. We’ll also practice a slow-paced hip-focused Yoga sequence to open, stretch and release tightness in the hips.
You’ll walk away with a deeper understanding of how the hips function, bringing you greater awareness during your Yoga practice, everyday activities and habits, so you can lead a more balanced life.
$35 if registered by Saturday, 10/8; $40 after.

There are no refunds. Cancellations made by 5:00 PM on the day prior to the workshop will receive a studio credit toward services (not retail products) for the amount paid. Cancellations made after 5:00 PM on the day prior to the workshop will not receive a refund or credit.
