ROPE WALL SERIES

with Karen O'Lone

Karen

Dates: Mondays, Oct. 28-Nov. 18, 2019 Time: 3:45p – 5:15p
Normal Heights - East Room

One of the best props in yoga is the Rope Wall!

Are you curious about what a yoga rope wall is? Do you just want to add another rope wall class to your week? This series is open to all levels, barring certain injuries, or contraindications.

Practicing on the ropes can lead to a better understanding of some postures, deepen others, and allow one to access postures that may seem out of reach in a traditional mat class. For example, the use of the ropes can help a student to better understand the actions required of the back leg in a standing posture like Warrior 1; may deepen a student's standing forward bend; and, can help a student access the benefits of an inversion by helping to hold the student in position.

Plus, it's a lot of fun!
Monday 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18

Early-bird Rate: $64 for all 4 classes in the series if registered by 10/11/19.

Regular Rate $80 for all 4 classes in the series if registered  between 10/12 and 10/27/19.

Please contact your teacher, Karen O'Lone at [email protected] with any questions, more information and to register.

About Reiki:
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit and has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. Its use is not dependent on one’s intellectual capacity or spiritual development and has been successfully taught to thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds. While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to learn and use Reiki.
